Favourite Cat Videos pt. 1.

Nyan Cat

Cats. are. my. favourite. Yes, I am that person who will sit and watch those 5 hour youtube compilations of cat videos from start to finish and honestly love every minute. I frequently cry at cat videos, sometimes in public... to the embarrassment of everyone I know. I though I would share some of this love with you, so I present some of my favourite cat videos. Believe me, I have about 1000 more I would love to show you but I will keep it short and save them for my next 100 instalments. Most of these are classics, so you may well have heard about them before but hopefully will enjoy them nonetheless!

1. Okay! A short but sweet one to start with, sideways cat. I think all cat owners know the strange eccentricities of cats oh so well but my cat has, sadly, never quite managed this level.

2. I won't lie. This video made me cry. Twice.

3. As you will no doubt find unsurprising, I have been compared to this lady and this video multiple times by friends and family and you know what? There is nothing wrong with loving cats this much, the internet has proved this time and time again.

Both the original and the songify version are hilarious, I personally love the signify version above.

4. Sad Cat Diary is just one of my all time favourite things. If you do not find this amusing, get in the sea and find a sense of humour or a love of cats whilst you are there.

5. And to round up nicely, how about the classic that is Nyan Cat? To anyone that hasn't seen or knows of Nyan cat, I have one question. Do you reside under a rock?

P.s I take no responsibility for the madness that may ensue, when you cannot get this earworm to leave your brain.

Do you have any favourite cat videos?

Let me know!

 (Seriously, I need more)

Best Vegan Food in Brighton!

Best Vegan Food in Brighton
Clockwise: Food For Friends, Food at Pompoko, Creperie & Food at The Prince George Pub.
Food for Friends has been serving up gourmet vegetarian and vegan food for over 30 years now and never fails to amaze! They are always coming up with new amazing dishes and it is must to visit if you are in the area. Not only is the food delicious but the staff are lovely and very knowledgable.
Recommended dish: Sharing Platter for Two.

The Prince George Pub, Trafalgar Street, is a vegetarian pub that serves amazing food but the absolute best Roasts!! My favoutite is the Mushroom Wellington, pictured above. I don't actually like mushrooms but somehow this still manages to be one of my favourite meals ever.  You will find me here on any given Sunday stuffing my face with a giant grin. This is by far the best vegan roast I have had in Brighton and not only that but also the BIGGEST. Congrats if you finish it!
Recommended dish: Sunday Lunch.

Pompoko Brighton
Pompoko, Church Street - Tofu Chilli Don.

Pompoko, Church Street has been a firm favourite of mine for years. So many amazing vegan options and their tofu is cooked to perfection. It's incredibly budget friendly with the average price of a vegetarian/vegan main being about £4.50. Although relatively small, meaning you have to wait for a table, the service is speedy and the food, delicious.
Recommended dishes: Yubamaki & Tofu Chilli Don.

Vbites Brighton
V-bites, East Street, Brighton.

VBites, East Street, has been a staple for vegan food for a while now. Since moving right into the heart of The Lanes I have been here a lot. Vbites, formally The Redwood Wholefood Company, have their own range of foods that are used in the restaurant and you can also buy in shops. They are great if you are looking for 'mock meat' style food and their burgers are fantastic. They also have freshly baked cakes and desserts daily.
Recommended Dish: Vegan Donner Kebab (one of their alternating specials)

Creperie Brighton
Creperie, Ship Street.
Next up, Creperie, Ship Street, isn't necessarily aimed at vegan's but their savoury crepes are vegan and they have a range of fillings to choose from, with a little editing. The reason they are on here is that they are really flexible, suggest options and are willing to accommodate different dietary requirements. Creperie is also great to go to with non-vegan friends and is quite different from the rest on the list. Not only that but it is so beautifully decorated inside and a lovely place to wile away a few hours on a Sunday morning.

Finally Beelzebab at The Hope and Ruin, Queens Road. The people at Beelzebab have recently taken over the kitchen at the Hope and Ruin. Loaded fries, Kebabs and Hot Dogs make this a junk food fans dream! Their speciality is their vegan kebab but everything on the menu is delicious and worth giving a go, especially the loaded fries.
Recommended Dish: Jackfruit 'Pulled Pork' Loaded Fries - you will not regret it.
