Review || La Roche-Posay SeroZinc.

 I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the La Roche Posey 'Serozinc' for a very long time. So when I decided to try out some La Roche Posey products, I was naturally drawn towards Serozinc. Serozinc is a zinc sulfate solution 'specifically designed to target key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin.' I have been suffering from some rather aggressive breakouts recently so I though this would be the perfect time to put Serozinc to the test!

I have been using this product for over a month now and I have been noticing how much more balanced my skin has been feeling. I think it has helped oil prone zones without dying my skin out and I am also finding that my makeup is staying on my skin a little longer and going on smoother. La Roche Posey state that the product is designed to make skin appear more 'mattified' and I really do think it achieves this. My skin both looks and feels less oily to the touch. It just takes off that inevitable shine that creeps up on me throughout the day that I thought I would just always have to deal with.

Although I have had some great success with this product, sadly I thought it might do a little more for my breakouts. For my skin, this product seems to have worked by targeting blemishes and drawing them out. I have seen spots that would normally take a few days to come to a head, come out much quicker. Whilst this is great as it seems to be doing something, I have not noticed a decrease in breakouts. I am not sure if drawing them out is really the purpose of the product, it is just what I have observed.

Overall I think this is a good product and I am glad I have tested it. Sadly, I cannot vouch that it has improved my breakouts yet but I am hoping that as it has helped control oily zones, this may happen with some more time. For this reason I am definitely going to continue using Serozinc.

Have you tried La Roche Posey's Serozinc Yet?

  5. I really want to give this a go! I've used a few products before that cause me to breakout quicker - I usually find if they draw the spots out they clear up a lot faster.

    1. Its anti breakout claims didn't really impress me and I don't really use the product for that even though it draws them out quicker I am not finding it do much else currently. I am still giving it a little more time. But it does a great job at mattifying my skin and getting rid of shine which is something I have never had a product do so well before!
